Cape Cod is at a turning point. I hear from too many working families, young professionals, and seniors who are struggling to afford to live here. Our teachers, first responders, and small business employees are being priced out of the very communities they serve.
As County Commissioner, I’ll work to ensure that Barnstable County takes a leadership role in addressing our housing crisis. That means partnering with towns, local developers, and non-profits to expand attainable housing options—while protecting the Cape’s unique character and environment.
With responsible planning, smart zoning, and support for our local workforce, I believe we can make Cape Cod a place where people of all ages and income levels can continue to live, work, and raise a family.
Cape Cod’s economy depends on small businesses, tourism, and the hardworking people who keep our communities strong. Yet too many local entrepreneurs face rising costs, workforce shortages, and limited access to the resources they need to succeed.
As County Commissioner, I’ll focus on creating an environment where small businesses can grow and thrive. That means cutting red tape, supporting job training programs, and investing in the infrastructure that keeps Cape Cod competitive — from broadband access to reliable transportation.
I believe sustainable economic growth starts with empowering local businesses, attracting new opportunities, and keeping the Cape affordable for the people who make it special.
Everyone deserves to feel safe in their community. Across Cape Cod, residents are increasingly concerned about rising crime and homelessness, and I share those concerns. We can’t ignore these challenges — we have to face them head-on with compassion, accountability, and action.
As County Commissioner, I’ll work with law enforcement, social service organizations, and local leaders to strengthen public safety while addressing the root causes of homelessness. That means ensuring our police and first responders have the resources they need, while also expanding access to mental health care, addiction treatment, and housing support programs that help people get back on their feet.
I believe we can keep our neighborhoods safe and welcoming by combining firm public safety measures with real opportunities for those who are struggling — because everyone deserves the chance to live with dignity and security.
I believe taxpayers deserve a county government that is transparent, accountable, and responsible with every dollar it spends. As someone with experience in both the public and private sectors, I understand the importance of setting clear priorities, managing budgets wisely, and ensuring that resources are used effectively for the people we serve.
As County Commissioner, I’ll push for open and accessible budgeting processes so residents can see exactly where their tax dollars are going. I’ll advocate for performance-based budgeting that measures results, eliminates waste, and focuses funding on programs that make a real difference for Cape Cod families.
Fiscal responsibility isn’t about cutting for the sake of cutting — it’s about smart management, long-term planning, and honest communication. My goal is simple: to make sure every decision made at the county level is guided by transparency, efficiency, and respect for the taxpayers who fund it.
